Resolved - Stuck Rear Tires

Hello Everyone!

Back at it with another issue with my 01' SLK320. I was removing the winter tires and rims to replace with summer tires and rims about 1.5 months ago (I know...kinda late but didn't get around to it due to life). The summer tires and rims came with the vehicle when I purchased it over the winter.

Once I installed the tires, the car does not move in drive or reverse.

Things Tried:

1. Removed tires and put car in drive on QuickJack car lift. The rotors were spinning, however, there was a slight hesitation at certain points. Removed calipers and they were bad, figured this was the problem and the calipers were seized. Replaced both rear calipers. Issue still remained.

2. Removed brake pads from one side at a time and put car in drive. Rotor spinning perfectly without any issues. Tried other side without brake pads....rotor spinning perfectly fine without any hesitation.

I put the brake pads backs on, bled the brake lines to get air bubbles out, put tires back on but cannot get the vehicle to move.

Any suggestions? Don't want to keep throwing money at it and trying different things.

I appreciate all those that will comment and help in advance.

Thanks!

Car only came with one sets of bolts. With the summer tires, I am still using the same set.

I will try putting the winter tires on in the rear and see if it goes back to normal. If it does, then it is the bolts for sure.

Brake pads were not replaced.

Will report back after I get home tonight.

If it is the lug bolts, how do i determine the size that I need with these rims?
