Question Alternative Spare Tire

I have a ‘01 SLK320 which is a weekend driver and I don’t want to use the OEM spare(I’d like to to keep everything in tack)and I am looking for an alternative spare to the inflatable that came with the car. Is there a alternative donut style spare out there that would work in a pinch? Something I can throw in the trunk for piece of mind for those longer trips.

There are alternatives on the web, but they are pretty much same size and same principle.

If you go after these, remember to check the style of studs used.
You will have noticed that your toolkit includes the different studs needed for the oem spare.
Not the same as those used on the proper wheels.

This is what I carry along with the spare...just in case it fails to work. So far I've repaired 7 tyres on various vehicles. It's worked everytime.
