Resolved/completed---New parts for my baby

Hello everyone, I have ordered some parts for my SLK320 R170. Suspension/Chassis control arms x8, rear droplinks x2, rear been I discs and pads and handbrake shoes, an alternator belt and a tensioner pulley. Lots of work for me to do on the car. I've tried to find the rear anti roll bar bushes ( the ones that attach the roll bar/sway bar to the car with a u shaped holder which bolts to the car) but either I'm writing it wrong or it's not available as it keeps showing me droplinks when I search for them, I need the bushes and the brackets that hold the bushes if anyone can guide me to a uk supplier please? Also is there a guide anywhere for a part number for the rear wishbone/ spring-holder bushes? I have found the knuckle joint end bushes but not sure on the other end furthest away from the wheel end. I want all the parts before I start so I can strip it and get it all done without waiting for parts. Thanks for your time in reading this and any possible help will be great.

Well after looking online for the rear torsion/antiroll bar I can't find any for sale in the UK and those I find abroad are €36 for each metal bracket and €5 for each rubber and that's without postage. I may have to contact Mercedes themselves and get a price. I will contact a few local motor parts places tomorrow and see what they say. Thanks again for your help though it was very helpful and I now know the part numbers.

It pays to at least question prices at the dealer.

They are not always overpriced.
Also, unlike some internet selling, you can expect genuine parts with holes in the correct location.

When I did mine I did not replace the bushing clamps.....although looking corroded they cleaned up fine. I have had good support from Mercedes Benz Newcastle that sell on Ebay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/mercedesb...72.m2749.l2754 just send them a message with the part number you require. They are always quick to respond. I and many others also use autodoc.co.uk . Although based in Germany their prices are VERY good but there is shipping costs so bigger orders are always more cost effective.

I have been contacted by Mercedes and have been given a price for the torsion bar/ anti roll bar bushes and holders and the spring holder bush too. 60.81p with VAT they will be with me at the weekend. I enquired about the hub knuckle bush that the other end of the spring carrier sits onto and they want 37 plus vat each, I gave him part number A2013520027 & A2203520227 which he said is an old part number as the design has been upgraded to be better. But he didn't give me the new part number ( I'm guessing to stop me looking for it elsewhere). I can find the old part number components easily as a Febi replacement at 28 for the pair but wondered if anyone knew the newest part number for that component please?

I got those numbers from your earlier post link. And the Mercedes main dealer said they were the old part numbers. Very strange.

@jbanks15 would you know anyone who would have an updated part number for my hub knuckle bush please? It's worried me know you have said this won't be the part for my car, and as Mercedes in Colchester has said this is no longer the correct part number as they are old I was hoping to find the correct part number for the upgraded part. Mercedes won't tell me the new part number without me buying it from them (which I will probably end up doing, but I still would like to look around).

Hahahaha yeah it does, I've seen it written as that or the wheel bearing carrier/ wheel carrier. It's what the wheel bolts to and the control arms are attached too if that's any help.
