1999 Slk230 Fuel Pump Fuse exact location

Ok I have scoured the forums and I could find information about all the other fuses except specific information about the k40 and the order from top to bottom about which fuse does what.Does anyone have this information or at least which one is the fuel pump one?

The fuel pump fuse is one of the fuses on the K40 relay board. You might be able to trace it from the tracks on the board from the attached.

That picture looks like my slk's k40, however on top they are all 15 amp fuses, but ill try.Thanks.Will update thread after.

Hi @Legendaryusei

I'm assuming your 230, being 1999, has the M111.973 engine, as there is a specific diagram for the K40 for your engine.


In which case relay k1 is the fuel pump relay and fuse f5 (15A) is the fuse. For your model fuse f1 to fuse f5 are all marked as 15A. The air pump fuse is marked 40A.


On to your diagram (attached). For the fuel pump (M2 on the diagram) you should measure +12V on connector B3 (red/green cable) with the engine running.
