Speakers not working

I just replaced the seat relay on my wife's 2001 SLK 230. Now the radio comes on and shows volume but the speakers do not work. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes, the katzastmafritzer and the gizmo are out of alignment with each other! LOL. But seriously it sounds like you must've knocked a wire off or fuse blew when you did your fix.

That's what I first thought, so I went back and checked the wiring and the two fuses in the box under the hood and they all looked good. Any more idea's

Try pulling the radio fuse for a couple of min, see if that resets. I don't know if the unit you have has an outboard (external) amp or not. If so, I would suspect an issue with that. Otherwise, I hope you did not fry the amp in the head unit.
