Rough running Slk 230
After my little accident and subsequent purchase of a replacement car my 230k was parked for about a week. Prepping the car to be repaired I started her up to move her to the driveway. A little slow to crank but the car started as always. The car ran like a dog. Missing and popping over 2500 rpm, no guts and clearly very, very sick!
Somewhere ( was it here? ) I read that slk's are sensitive to low battery voltage.
I put the car on a good charger for a few hours and took it for a run. Not too much better but clearly a difference. A good hard 10 mile run however made a world of difference. I have done nothing else to the car but drive it and she's back to her former pocket rocket self!
First place I look from now on for any bugs is a fully charged battery!
