Unhappy Windows scratching...

Hi all,

I have searched by no sign of this that I can find;

So the question is...

After i did some messing with my door a while back I started to notice a slight sound on the odd occasion when my drivers side window was going down. I thought nothing of it (the car is 16 years odl now). After having the car washed today and detailing it afterwards myself I have noticed a number (3-4) very faint scratches on my drivers side window!

Have I buggered something up? Anyone ever had this before?

I am hoping it can be remedied with one of the two access holes in the bottom of the door panel??

Any ideas most welcome please?

Cheers,

RLander.

Sounds like you got some grit trapped.

Once you're happy that it is removed you can polish the windows.

With the window down check the rubber seal at the top of the door for trapped grit. It might have dug itself into the rubber and got stuck
