Whats next to my oil filter

Hi all not long joined slkworld i own a slk 320 year 2000 , needs some work doing but overall nice tidy car. This is my first mb so slightly lost at moment where everything is etc. i have question i hope you can help me with what is the reservoir next to the oil filter to the right and about 4 inches below looked in owners manual but cant find it. cheers Mark.

that lid/reservoir to the right of the yellow arrow (yellow arrow points to the oil filter)?
I hope this is the right engine/pic. If this looks like yours, it's the power steering fluid reservoir.

Thanks for replying but thats not my engine but the next reservoir to the right of that on your pic ,mine looks like that one cheers Mark

Isn't that the oil filter? The PS is next to that, belt driven.
