Has anybody rebuilt the trunk lift cylinders?

This is the cylinder where you need to drill out the dimples then use a punch to push out the cylinder. Been trying to do it still connected to car on a workmate bench next to car. Not having success. Maybe should just send it to TopHydraulics...

if it is the trunk lifts and NOT the roof hydraulics, buy new ones
they are about $20 a piece

I tried once and made a total hash of it. Next one I sent to tophydraulics. I might try again some day but these are by far the hardest to rebuild yourself.
