cleaning throttle body and MAS sensor

I have been told that part of my fast idle problem may be dirt in the throttle body and the MAS Air Flow Sensor or the heat sensor that controls the fast idle enricher. Any help would be appreciated. I have a 99 230 SLK with 83K miles

Be careful using a throttle body cleaner spray with a supercharger. Read the side of the can, the ones I have seen says do not use with a charger. The MAF is removed and sprayed to clean with a cleaner. Give it a shot and see if it helps, nothing ventured nothing gained. Is the check engine light (CEL) burning?
