Tail light holder for 99 SLK230

While trying to replace the taillight on my 1999 SLK230 I dropped the bulb and the holder shown into void between the trunk and body and cannot locate the part. This holds the highest, outermost light on the passenger side of the vehicle. Pelican shows a brown and blue part that look similar, but neither appears the same. Any idea where I might find the part below? Are there differences between the parts listed besides color? I've been meaning to see if another socket fits, but it's rather cold out and the parts are a bit difficult to reach.

Pelican Options:
Back Up Light Socket 1408260582 - Genuine Mercedes-Benz - 140-826-05-82 | Pelican Parts
Tail Lamp Bulb Socket 2108260382 - Genuine Mercedes-Benz - 210-826-03-82 | Pelican Parts

Thanks!

Thanks, but I don't quite understand. There are quite a few bulbs in the rear light assembly. Are the holders all the same?

From what you posted I'm leaning toward "Tail Lamp Bulb Socket 2108260382" being the correct part although the color is different.

I tried using a flashlight and fishtape to find the piece I dropped, but I didn't have any luck. I could likely take off some of the plastic covering and get more access, but the almost 20yo plastic has not aged well and often ends up cracking if I mess with it. The parts in the trunk shouldn't be nearly as bad as under the hood due to the relative lack of heat though.

Thanks!

you said tail light, not blinker light or fog light or stop lights
last numbers in each are the quantity

14** A 140 826 01 82** . LAMP SOCKET
. STOP AND BACK-UP LIGHTS
. [001] Up to ident. no.: F 171772**
004**
14** A 140 826 01 82** . LAMP SOCKET
. REAR FOGLAMP
. [001] Up to ident. no.: F 171772**
001** ***
14** A 210 826 03 82** . LAMP SOCKET
. TAIL LIGHT**
002** ***

14** A 210 826 01 82** . LAMP SOCKET
. BLINKER LIGHT**

everything but the taillight uses the same socket per the part numbers above
