Adjustable suspension

I`m still in a dilemma about my suspension and think it would be best if I could get hold of some adjustable units.
Can anyone suggest where I may get some?
There are plenty on ebay but nothing specific.

I really hope you can help.
Kindest regards,
Martyn

Hi Martyn,

Why not contact Bilstein directly, explain what you require, and they should be able to suggest suitable part nos.

There are adjustable rear camber arms you can get for the R170, i think they are around $350. As far as i know there is nothing offered for the front other than the concentric bolts which will give you very little adjustment.

Its been a few years, i'll see what i can find.

http://www.ebay.com/sch/sis.html?_nk...d=370469771710

This is what i use. The company i bought them from went out of business so unless you can find a used pair your out of luck. Some of the stuff looks good but i'm not sure if it will pass your mot/ dot.

I`m still in a dilema about my suspension. I fear I may have to sell my car unless I can do something.
I`ve added a profile for members to view and cast their opinions.

Hope you can help.

Martyn

It`s been confirmed by a mechanic that the suspension has been lowered with yellow springs.
I now need some standard size springs.
Anyone in UK know where I can purchase same?....or Swop!!!!!!
Regards to all.

Euro car parts list them from 38 - 58 depending on make. I've heard dealer prices ar not to dear for suspension parts. If using ECP put in the code 'MBCLUB25' for a 25% discount.

The ride height of your SLK looks perfect as-is - it sits right on top of the wheels/tires... what is the issue?

To Chris R

This issue is about my back.
In this area there are a host of speed bumps and unless I approach at around 3mph they cause quite a bad pain in my back.
I`m trying to improve the ride so I can continue using my SLK.
Hope this explains.
Regards to all.

Makes sense to me - back pain is the worst and the SLK isn't really supple in the ride department.

Maybe something could be done with the seat? I believe it already has hydraulic height adjustment - perhaps a stronger hydraulic piston could be sourced?

Best of luck!
