IMHO I prefer curro101's version. The first is a little plain for my taste and option two the thickness of the horizontal fins overpowers the front of the vehicle.

IMHO a Mercedes roadster should have a single bar grill. They've gotten back to that look with the r171 and r172.

I am really attracted to this one from the original post. What is the source? It looks like it maybe just the addition of the bars to a standard grill/

I like this one, too...imo

But, if I had to choose I would think one bar for a guys car and two for a girls! Now that helped, didn't it?

Both grills on pics are the same. Only difference is that fins in that grill is painted black and chrome line is left alone. You can buy them off ebay

Single bar on Ebay

I found this one:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/170984635920...84.m1423.l2649

However, I'm not that fond of the pedestal that the star is mounted on.

I am happy with the stock grill. I just think a silver bar on either side would look better. Maybe its because I always wanted a 190SL when I was young. It seems to me that the SLK must be the modern equivalent.
