Fuse box in trunk?

Hey everybody,

I've noticed through a few searches that there are apparently a few fuses in the trunk of the r170. I pulled all three panels on the right hand side of the trunk off, but could not find a fuse box. Are there really fuses in the trunk, and am I looking in the right place?

Thanks a lot!

I expect your car is a late model (2001 or 2002), and by then the small supplementary fuse box that was situated in the rear luggage compartment in the earlier models had been relocatedto an enlarged main fuse box in the engine compartment. If you check the fuse numbers shown as being in the luggage compartment in the earlier cars, you'll find them in the main fuse box in your late model 17
