Oil leak question on 200K

I found a 2001 200K with 95000 kms on the clock. Car is pretty clean and service looks good. Only "issue" is a leak on the front of the engine below the engine cover. Can anyone on the board enlight me with this leak and tell me if it is serious or not ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

First answer from a friend of mine, a mechanic at a Peugeot dealer-- according to him it is a leak on the "cylinder head cover"
My guess is that I will have to see a MB dealer and ask for a quote and see if the car is worth the bucks....

it's better that you remove the plastic cover to see where the oil comes from. it can be the cam magnet under the cover which is very common and serious sometimes.
