Help locating the seat relay on my right hand drive model

So my R170 has the often discussed issue with the relay that controls the power to the seats, in that its only working intermittently. Unfortunately I'm having trouble finding it!

All of the pics & discussions I've seen talk about where to find it on a left hand drive model. Its described as being to the left of the steering column - just unscrew and remove the light switch panel, take off the side panel next to it and reach through. So I tried this in reverse on my car and found the fuse panel, but not much more was visible. I've had the torch in there and fettled with my hand, but couldn't find anything although I wasn't really sure of the scale of the piece I'm looking for. There is quote a bit of foam padding and then the air duct, so I might just not have been looking hard enough...

Am I to expect it on this side, or is it still likely to be the left side of the steering column rather than being mirrored across? Should I try and take off the entire underside of the steering column? There are a couple of very tight screws so didn't want to try that until I really have to...

OK so for anyone else with my problem, I can confirm that everything is reversed from the LHD instructions. So you still need to be removing the blower above the headlight switch on the right hand side of the panel, and its behind the steering column to the left of all the wiring loom connectors. Unlike on the RHD model its virtually impossible to get to the relay just by removing the light switch, so I had to take some screws out of the bottom panels too and unclip it so I could get another hand in.

Best pics of the situation I found are in Accessing the seat adjustment relay - Benzworld.org - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum - basically you will see those orangle, blue and brown wiring clips in reverse order and the relay is to the left of that. Mine took some pulling to get it out but I got there eventually!
