CYLINDER HEAD Piant Questions

I want to paint my CYLINDER HEAD, Engine cover to match my car.

Right now it is Red and Gray.

I was thinking the red would be black and the gray will be per.

Has anyone here painted their motor or had it done?

Any advise of paints to use?

I am going to have it sand blasted before re-painting it.

Thanks!
SLKman

Just need some high temp paint. See products like VHT

Paint striper, sand it, degrease, wash, dry then paint.

Once the cylinder covers off it makes good sense to replace as much as possible and head gaskets being prone to failure on the 230 i thought it might be worth it.

Do as much as possible when its in bits you know
