Roof Problem - cycle seems not to be completed

Hi guys,

Putting the roof back up yesterday the cycle did not complete and the quarter windows did not raise. The main roof is attached and the boot closed, just the red light flashes on the mechanism and an alarm sounds to confirm the cycle is not complete.
I can raise the main windows but not the quarters.
Any ideas what is wrong and can I fix it myself ? I need to go back to France this weekend !!!

Thanks in advance.

I'd guess a broken wire on the "roof latched to windshield" circuit. Just a guess though.

See this thread for how to diagnose switches.

Many thanks for this, not confident doing it myself so have bitten the bullet and taken in to our local main dealer (always appalling customer service - if you can I would recommend anybody avoids Vikings of Canterbury, Kent, UK !!!) but it always helps when you can at least point them in a likely direction for the fault...
Fingers crossed I can get it back in time...

As an update on this efair you were absolutely correct, this was the exact problem. Car fixed and returned in time to travel, we are both now safely in France.
Many thanks for your help on this !
