cruise control problem

Hi everyone I own a 2001 slk 200 and having problems with the cruise control the speed limiter works but the cruise control will not work I have checked the fuses and plugged into a diagnostic computer and the only fault that come up is the bank angle sensor please can any one shed any light to this problem and any solutions thanks neil

What sizes are your tyres , if they're more than 3% out , the cruise control may fail ?

Hi the tyres on the car. Are standard and are nearly. Brand new nothing has been changed on the car apart from having a full set of brake pads

Maybe one of the speed sensors hasn't been dislodged or similar , when doing the brakes ?

If the brake light switch is bad, I think it affects the speed control.
