R170 fault codes help

Hi guys,

Just had the codes pulled from my 1998 slk 230.

The following was revealed.

P0443 - evaporation emission system purge control valve.
P1525 - R/H adjustment camshaft timing solenoid.
P0805 - clutch position sensor/circuit.
P0805 - clutch position sensor/circuit range performance.
P0135 - O2 sensor heater circuit (bank 1 sensor 1).

Could all these codes be related to one problem or have I got separate issues.

I discovered yesterday the supercharger clutch isn't engaging properly, could this be related to any of the above.

If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be of great help.

I do not think they are related to one problem, but they could be related to why your clutch is not properly engaging.

As far as P0135 I had success replacing the O2 Sensor.

This is where I got it, I am not sure if it is the same as pre-facelift though. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o00_s00

Have just pulled the k40 out of the car after reading this could be some of the problems.

It didn't look to bad but soldered it anyway then noticed the 15amp fuse in f2 had blown.

Replaced the unit and the fuse and checked the codes again all that came up was P0806 clutch position sensor/circuit range performance.

The supercharger is now spinning 😃. I am off for quick drive just to see how things are will then check to see if it's thrown me more codes.

Update. Been for a nice long drive with the roof down which is a rare occasion in the UK. Checked for codes and the only one is still the P0806.
Not sure what this code is as the car is running better than ever. More searching and a few jars I may come up with the answer.

If anyone has any ideas on the last code please feel free to chime in all.

Just measured the voltage to the sc clutch got a good supply. I have read somewhere that you should be able to read resistance through the sc magnetic clutch think it was 4 ohms. All I am reading is an open circuit. Just looking for some wire so I can hard wire the sc clutch to see if it operates
