Clunck sound and now tranny leaks...

2 days ago I was getting on the freeway and giving it pretty good gas to do so. Just as the car was shifting gears to speed up, I had to slow down and applied the brakes.
I heard a LOUD clunk from underneath!
I pulled over but did not see anything.

Now 2 days later, a fellow employee called me from the parking garage and said tranny fluid was all under my car. ALL UNDER my car! A big mess!

No tranny fluid in my home drive or garage?

Any ideas???

I have a Continental warranty that I am pretty sure covers most all the car and I would hope it covers the tranny. (that's a good thing)

More bummed out about not getting to instal my wind screen and Reomote roof than anything else.

ARGGG gonna be a LONG weekend!

Naaa, life is too short to get upset about the little things.

Gotta think of all the good stuff...
like...

I met a cool wrecker driver.
I found out my alarm goes off on the wrecker everytime we hit a bump in the road.
I got to see Liz, my Mercedes service advisor again.

Life is an adventure, enjoy the ride!!

It'll give you something to talk about when you get old!

Wahoo!!!!!

The Benz dealer called and said the car would be ready today!!!

It was a shift linkage seal. Covered by warranty!

The clunk was due to being low on fluid, so they say?

2nd time in Mercedes-Benz of Houston North at 1960/I-45 and a had Great experience and quick service from them.

Gonna be driving this weekend after all. Yeah!
