SLK Noisy Rear Shelf

I'm less than impressed with the metal shelf that seems to amplify noise from the rear of the car. My 'no cost' fix was to install a dense self adhesive foam rubber (already in stock in my garage) to the underside of the shelf. Hey-presto, significantly reduced noise levels from the rear shelf
