2001 slk 320 radio is dead

Hi everyone

my 2001 slk radio is dead today worked fine lastnight in morning it's dead nothing, any advice where to start did radio die or is there a seperate amp that died,loose wire or fuse. Any idea where to begin am I looking at replacement? Any advice would be helpfull

fuse behind the radio. does the power come on with no volume or is completely dead?

thanks for the quick reply it does nothing completely dead! we had a cold night last night and in the morning it was dead, well cold for southern ca
54 degrees would the fuse just go out on its own

anything is possible. sounds like a fuse but im no electrician. just a starting point

Thanks again fuse sounds like a good place to start hope i don't need a new radio that's my flash tune money. Will post my findings

Question weird radio problem

Ok this is weird I went out today to try and
pull the radio out and today it is working again? I must have some kind of intermittent problem will just leave it alone for now see if it happens again???

There are several connections in the left rear fender, where the antenna comes in through the body. Possible one of them is loose. You can get to them through the trunk...
