BOSE Amplifier Plug

Anyone have any experience opening the BOSE radio amplifier plug? I'm refitting my 2000 SLK230 with the OEM radio and amplifier. The previous owner had installed an aftermarket radio and in doing so, cut the speaker wires so close to the plug that I can't connect or solder them back together very effectively.

It appears that the connector itself comes apart but after examining it, it looks like Rubic's cube in determining what clips to push, pull or separate in order to release the wiring block from the connector in order to properly re-fit the metal connectors to the speaker wires. I don't want to break it in my endeavors to fix it, so to speak.

Help with the proper method or sequence to separate the connector from the plastic wiring block would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Russell

Bose Amplifier Plug

Never mind. Got it. Had to use the right sequence on the plastic pins to get the connector to separate. Already soldered the metal pins to the wires and reinserted them into the plug and snapped it back together again. Good as new.

thanks
