Speed sensor pulses

Ok...I just dropped in a Pioneer Avic d3 into my 01 SLK and hooked up the speed sensor. Well, I know I got the right wire and all cause I see with speed the pulses go up...the problem is, I think its getting too many pulses??? My speedo says I'm going 30 but the Pioneer shows 180MPH !!

I called Pioneer but as might guessed it they are worthless...so now what?

Anyone had any problems with their MB and after HD unit?

Thnx

It should be able to learn the pulses according to the manual:

I know what you're saying and yes I read that too. The problem is, right now as it is, I am not even on the right road cause it thinks I'm driving 175MPH. I did a reset, cleared everything, and its still the same???

wierd
