anybody have any idea why my alarm has started to randomly go off the car has been off the road since October and I have been charging the battery for a day once a month. the key fob switches it off fine but last night it just kept going off randomly so I ended up leaving it unlocked.it was a little windy and the car has a cover on it could the flapping cover set it off

Have you looked for water round the PSE pump in the boot?

Other thing that might be worth a try is pressing the 'tow away alarm' button (for want of a better description ) - this will allow movement of the car, but still alarm on doors opening.

Mine was too. Apparently, the back up batteries in the actual alarm go faulty after a while. This also cause the alarm to go off randomly. I have heard of people replacing the batteries, but most replace the alarm. I just removed my alarm altogether. problem solved.
