Unhappy Missfire changes between cyclinders

Hey guys...

So I have recently got myself a 99 SLK 230...

Its been at a Merc specialist as it would go and then stay at 4500rpm and not rev more than that and then misfire and go into limp mode.
Plug the machine on it and says misfire on 1 & 4 cylinders, so put a new coil pack on and the misfire happens again on the new coil pack. Drive the car and then plug the machine on and no misfires. Wait 45min and drive again then the misfire moves to 2 & 3 cylinders????? Confused...The Merc specialist has no more ideas on what it could be.

These are the codes:

P0300-080 : Misfire Damages TWC
P0300-082 : Misfiring of cylinder 3: 82
P0300-084 : Misfiring of cylinder 2: 84
P0300-067 : Misfiring

The car goes but up a hill it does not rev up full and there is no acceleration, very frustrated as the Merc guy doesnt know what to do... (He worked for Merc for over 25years)

Mine was doing that and the MAF was FILTHY. At first I got a couple misfires from one cylinder and then they all started coming up and jumping around.

Take it off and clean it really well with electronic sensor spray and let it dry 1/2 hr and install. Do NOT use anything else or you'll damage it. Also clean out the intake tube and while you're at it clean out the throttle body with spray and a tooth brush. Cheap fix if it helps.

If it is the MAF it's probably getting gunked up because the oil separator and lines need to be cleaned. A member just posted on this just under you. Here's the link.
