Rest In Peace - SLK Battery

Tragically froze to death on Monday the 6th. 14°F.

I got a new battery yesterday. The car accelerates much faster.

I'm going to call the guy who owned it before me to find out if he ever changed the battery.

Well it's about time!!!!

If that pic is the old battery, you can see the bad cell on the right with the depleted solution

You must have it connected directly to the motors on your wheels then! That'll make it pretty torquey!

Do you mean it reset automatically when the battery was disconnected. That is a possibility I guess.

I figured it out. When my new AC was being put it, I noticed that once again the part that the air pump sucks in air from was partially detached from the air pump. So only some air was going in that way. I had noticed it when the new battery was being put in. But apparently I hadn't put it in all the way so it came loose again. But my mechanic put it in all the way.

I got 11 years out of my original battery in a C280. Needless to say, I replaced it with another M-B battery.
