disconnect cable from trunk lift actuator?
Hey Guys, been working my butt off learning on my way. I've got my trunk lifter hydraulic actuator undone (I'm sending it in), but It's connected at the bottom to the cable locking. I have no idea on how to detect it from the lifter while it's being repaired?
Any help would be appreciated. Any yes, I've searched all the forums. Maybe I'm not keying in the right search word.
Found my Answer ! (I feel kind of stupid) but that's how you learn. I had to put the trunk in the backwards position. This gave me the access I needed to get to the cable and it is simply a "T" bar type that's on the end of the cable. It's simply held in place by tension. So, by lifting the actuator up, LOL, it came right off the cable.
