Mounting holes question.

Hi Group!

After a tangling slightly with a pickup making a U-turn I got the car back and was looking at the repairs.

It's going back because of the orange-peel paint and loose body bolts on the new fender and liner and numerous other missing parts.

Now, this is the bodyshop the local Mercedes dealer suggested and I believe them to be less than c o m p e t e n t.

While listing the obvious I came across some mounting holes that have nothing attached. Perhaps they're not used in the 320?

Thanks in advance!

It may be my British Car background, but I believe the holes in the passenger side are for Right Hand Drive cars. All they anchor is the housing for the hood release cable and perhaps a wire for the alarm. They are all supposed to have the little locking caps on them and you are missing a couple. Don't feel bad, the local dealer's parts guy had no idea what they were and he couldn't find them in the parts 'book' either.
