Painting the inside of the car

Below you should see picture of the re-painting of my 2001 SLK320 over the weekend.
Took everything out of the car and stripped it useing Motsenbocker's Spray Paint Remover. Once that was done cleaned all the part requiring painting with Mineral Spirits and alow to dry I them using a spry gun with 1.2mm nozzle set at 28lbs at the gun applied two wet but light coats of a Vinyl/Plastic undercoating (Zinsser Odorless White) I left that over night to dry.
The next morning using the same setting on the spray gun applied two light but wet coats of C.I.L. Exterior Vinyl Satin finish.

AS you can see it turned out quite well, the colour is quite close it was matched on a machine but they are never quite the same but I love it.. Let hope it'll stand up to time.

Kal you don't need to take them off, just tape the door and use a sponge brush instead of a sprayer.

Sim,

Is that your NAV sitting in your cup holder tray? Is that hard wired in or do you just mount it there?

Hi Chick no it's not hard wired I used a bracket I had so it will sit in the middle of the cup holder but doesn't move about, it works really well I usually use Vent Mounts on my cars but figured out how to use that kind of mount in the cup holder.
