Question Heated Wing mirror wiring?

Just taken the mirror out as the heated element wasn't working & it hasn't been connected up.
However whils't the mirror glass has 2 spade connectors, the wing mirror has a green/grey 5 pin, 4 wire plug. How do i connect it up?

Having spoke to MB UK, they said there should be 2 separate wires that fit onto the spade ends on mirror glass.

However i have traced back into door & at no point is there any wiring, either tucked away or cut off.

I can only assume that this being a 99 MY & no wiring on RH UK mirror, that this is a Euro wiring & the (in their case would be passenger) mirror only had it for LH driver mirror?

Looks like i'll just have to keep scraping it!

Here a how to that shows the connectors etc.

The wiring starts off with a 5 wire connection then splits up inside the wing mirror housing.
