Installing New Head unit..

I'm installing a new head unit. I have both adapters from Matra 70-1784 and 70-1787; neither are the right one.

I think I can just make my adapter by moving the pins, but not sure what the exact pinout should be.

Yes I have searched, but SLK.COM is dead and other posts don't have the pinouts.

I'm adding multiple posts with pics.

If someone has a link for the pinouts please post up..

I'm fairly sure that the smaller wires are the pre-amp speaker connections:

I thought the 'Premium Sound System' on the 171 is HK, not Bose - are you sure that's not an R170 pinout? (Also, the CDC is in the glovebox, not the trunk on a 171).

Woolly,
I thought this was labeled R171 (pulled from mbenz.com), it has more connections than I have (my B1-2 & B7-8 are empty) on my R170. I have it working, but have quite a few empty connections.

Looking at it again - that pinout is for a 4 door saloon, so you will have a lot more empty sockets (rear door speakers etc.)

I bought a bipes unit and its great, plug and play.
I bought a rf ipod remote http://www.crutchfield.com/p_142IPNR...e&ssi=0&tp=241 so I didnt have to take my hands off the wheel to advance a track, pause or adjust volume.

Dld

Found out the DLD is not in production. Bugs they couldn't work out, so that's a dead end.
