WTB: SLK55 supercharger (USA - TN)

I'd like to buy a used supercharger for my SLK, so PM me if you've got a Kleemann, Renntech, etc.

FYI and Suggestions for the For Sale section

In no particular order

1. For sale/wanted threads are not editable by the poster. If you need a change made, please contact a moderator.
2, Thread should include price, pictures, contact info like email address. Try to not post a phone number. If you have less than 15 posts, you won't be able to reply by pm as newbies won't be able to pm the original poster either since they also probably have less than the required 15 posts to do so.
3. Why are threads uneditable? In case of a dispute, the seller cannot go back and say something was X when it was Y, because the seller changed it in his favor.

I suspect it very unlikely that you'll find a second hand one, but worth a go.

I've actually located a used Kleemann kit (GEN 2 with Autorotor) that's complete and recently rebuilt to specs as well as a used Renntech unit. I'm seriously considering the Renntech due to price as well as it being comletely concealed under the factory engine cover. I love the stealth factor.

What was wrong with the Kleemann kit where it needed to be rebuilt? I believe I heard that the Renntech kits make less power.

So can we close the WTB now?

But, first, you might wish to reply to this?

Money hasn't exchanged hands yet, so I'm still looking. I'll post up as soon as I buy one or change my mind. If anyone wants contact info for the guy with the Kleemann, let me know and I'll pass it on. I'll gladly just post it in this thread if the mods don't mind.

Here's what the seller sent me:

Updating you on the Kleemann supercharger I have.

The kit is Kleemann’s Gen 2 kit with the Autorotor MX420. I had it serviced by Kleemann in September 2017 where they replaced bearings, seals, leak down tested and timed the unit.

At the moment, I have it on my W210 E55 with a 3” pulley and its producing 6.6 PSI of positive pressure. Currently working on a 2.75”pulley to get about 8.5 PSI of boost.

I have all the items that would come with the Kleemann kit.

1x Supercharger MX420 with integrated intercooler
1x 87mm pulley (for a 4.3L M113)
1x 3” pulley (6.6PSI for a 5.4L M113)
~1x 2.75” pulley (8.X PSI for a 5.4L M113)
1x Johnson Control intercooler pump
1x Radiator (for intercooler)
1x Bell Engineering 2025 adjustable fuel regulator (Kleemann specs a 9:1 regulator)
1x Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump
1x Resistor for MAF (keeps it within its operating range)
1x Oil feed line
1x Dip stick for oil return
+ other bits and pieces I can’t think of at the moment

I can take a few photos tomorrow as the car is sitting in the garage waiting for the 2.75” adapter to be completed. Since the rebuild, I’ve probably driven a total of 20-50 miles just running logs making sure all is well.

From what I’ve heard, this is the Kleemann supercharger you want as it has much lower intake temps than the later versions that used Eaton superchargers.

At the moment, I would part with the kit for a reasonable offer.
