Clear LED tail lights

These have been tried on two AMG cars, I believe an 05, and my 08. According to Chrome Tech they work on AMG face lift cars which I am not sure is the same in the US and Europe.

I paid 250 from another member who paid 400 plus very high shipping. I am a very honest seller. If you want to take a chance I will sell them to you 250 shipped, if there is an issue I will return to you 250 and you pay the return shipping. If the lights are damaged and just did not work for you I am happy to give the money back. If you have an 55 AMG car I can tell you don't try it unless it is 09 or newer.

The lights actually worked on both cars but gave a tail light error in the dashboard.

Here is a couple of photos.

Just one other thing....they are in nearly new condition. In other words they are new but have been installed on two cars and removed but not used. If they work for you car they are a steal. I saw them on an 09 SLK55, black car like mine and they looked awesome and worked. It was a US car. I'll only ship to the 48 continuous states and possibly Canada if it isn't too expensive.

open to an offer and will accept them back if they don't function. No worries, I'm not looking to take advantage of anyone, but would love to see if these work for someone.

Zero, if you can't shift them, I'd love to take a look at them and see if I can get them to work. I don't have my next trip stateside firmed up yet, will either be late September or early October....

Shipping them to the UK may cost more than they are worth. If you meant to your US address of course. If you want me to check a shipping quote to the UK I can just PM the address.

Cheers,
Rob

Hey Rob - yeah, was talking about the US address - I usually don't have the spare time or equipment to play very much in the UK... I'll let you know when I've confirmed dates..

Sure, just let me know and I'll send them on down. If they work to your satisfaction we can work out a deal. Cheers

I would assume so, fit wasn't a problem it is the lamp error message that I was receiving. I am assuming the resistors were incorrect for this application but I didnt want to start fiddling with them and destroying the lights. If no one wants them I may do so over the winter.

The dash error depends on which car (AMG car or non-AMG car) and the year. They have been tried in two SLK55s and worked with a dash error. I am sure that they will function properly in the car they were intended for. If no one takes them I may check out a different set of resistors to get them to work in my 08 55.

If so one would like to try them I will happily refund the money if they don't work or you get a dash error. That is unless you damage the lights.

Thanks,
Rob

Lightbulb

Hello. I actually own these lamps too and have discovered why they are giving the error message. These lamps are EU coded and not US coded. Cars in the US have rear "marker" lamps that European cars don't have. There is a pin missing from the wiring harness (for the rear side-marker lamps to plug into) and therefore the cars computer is saying there is a bulb out.

I too am frustrated with the error message, however I am planning on installing simple resistors or somehow wiring up two lights to possibly be used in the trunk or something like that, to negate the error message.

Hope that helps! They're amazing lights and definitely garner a lot of stares.

Thanks Iya, I know that they are available on eBay. I'm just wondering if there are places that sell 2 different specs, one for US and one for EU-or are they all meant for EU SLKs?
