wiper question oem or not?

I applied RainX to my 2015 SLK with new OEM wipers and found them chattering in both directions even in a hard rain. Dealer advised me that they are graphite impregnated and the problem is the RainX! Scrubbed it off using BonAmi and problem went away. So, are other wiper brands 'better' than the OEM blades and less susceptible to a RainX contamination?

Thanks
Carl

Just a thought but RainX wiper blades are probably compatible with RainX.
