Hi.
I bought these.
569578

(y)
They look identical to the 5k HID's units that I fitted to My R171 in 2014 - They lasted 4 years & 40k miles, till I sold the car.
(They where a massive improvement & importantly, didn't wipe out the FM radio signal....!! )

Picture of how I installed them on My R171, after removing front wheel and wheel arch lining:

I see...you passed the wires through a rubber grommet...good thinking👍
Did you go for the 35 or 55 watt HIDs btw?
Just wondered if 55 may be too hot for the housing

Hi, one other question.. the bumper looks very good from the quality side, can you tell me, from which supplier you bought? How much money should I have to spend for it? Did you only bought the front bumper?
Best greetings
Martin

Hi guys

I would not buy the bumper.
I’m making a claim against the supplier as the actual bumper is ok, but I have to buy new LEDs and lower grille. The accessories that come with it are cheap crap.
I had to do a lot of work to get it looking anything like presentable.
If I could go back and start again I’d get the Duraflex bumper from the US supplier.
It’s near identical but will be superior quality.
The Chinese bumper does not have clips to hold the upper grillle in place and I’ve had trouble with lots of details to get it right.
it’s cost me nearly $2000 all told.
Go with Duraflex believe me, I wish I had.
