It has the upgraded Harman Kardon ICE but we prefer the Out-Car entertainment. Actually, with the top up it remains perfectly civilised but with lid off and on English country roads the sound is hard to beat (and we are exhaust experts). We have just developed a QuickSilver Sports system for Mercedes on the McLaren SLR and, though this is a fine sound indeed, we prefer our SLK - the shorter ratios and quicker changes in the later 7 speed gearbox take the prize.
