Members need to make sure they vote for themselves
If this were an election, would you vote for a competitor or not vote at all?
Besides, your vote might be the only vote you get!
9. Members caught creating new accounts to increase their score will suffer disciplinary action.
10. Entrants should not solicit votes publicly or by private message for themselves or other entrants. In addition, members that belong to car clubs that have an entrant as a member, should not encourage their members to vote for the entrant. This makes the competition a popularity contest rather than a car contest. Those caught doing so will suffer disciplinary action/removal from competition.
11. In case of a tie, the moderators will decide the winner.
Vote is in, just needed a lengthy review. I would recommend those that do not prevail this month, to get right back in the saddle. Some really good pics that deserved a ROTM badge.
Makes it unfair to people who do not have good camera and photoshop skills ......just saying.
I am a keen photographer and have been using Photoshop, Topaz Labs, Nik etc software for years. Any photographer familiar with these products can see the photos with heavy editing.........and you can turn a very ordinary photo into something stunning with the right (even free) software.
Perhaps we should have, a best 'photo of my car' competition, every month.....sort of level the playing field.
I took my pics on a cheap Chinese android phone, and made simple adjustments using the standard built in editor in Google Photos app. I'd say these are things that are available to anyone and require no skill to use. I do this to some extent with most photos as I don't like the way my phone processes pictures, and I like my photos to be "the best looking photo" of whatever the subject matter may be.
I've got a DSLR and can use Photoshop but didn't use either in this case.
