Performance upgrades for 2016 SLK 300

I recently purchased a 2016 SLK 300 with a 2.0L 4 turbo. I originally purchased it as a semi daily driver for my wife to replace her G37 that I sold. I fell in love with the car and would like to do some performance upgrades. Being as I am new to the MB world I have no experience with these vehicles. Are there any upgrades for this 4cylinder turbo? Hi flow filters, cold air intakes, pulley changes etc. yes I realize that a 4 turbo may not be the best “performance” engine to start with. Are upgrades available? Is it even worth the time, effort and money on the 4 cylinder?

Sorry...not many performance upgrades for your car. R172 owners will jump in

You have a M274 engine

M270 & M274 180/200/250 (BE) CGI
The M270 and M274 engine are essentially the same engine. Two displacements are available, 1.6 and 2.0 liters, in various sates of tune. Power outputs range between 122 and 211 hp and 200 and 350 Nm (147 and 258 lb-ft) of torque. The M270 is arranged transversely in FWD vehicles, while the M274 is arranged longitudinally in RWD vehicles.

From Kleemann

https://catalog.kleemann.dk/catalog/...blueefficency/

The Kleemann K-Box is a solid state electronic device for petrol/gasolines that modifies engine sensor signals back to the ECU. Manipulation of these sensor signals allows an increase in boost pressure and fuel injection volume, the result is an increase in horsepower and torque. Rugged and compact, with user adjustable power settings, the K-Box can installed in just a few minutes.

Thanks Jeff That looks really Interesting. good gains for a small engine. Kleemann must really know what they are doing.
I was told this car puts out 24i hp and 273 torque stock. This car should be an interesting adventure.

If you want more speed i have used RaceChip they are very good with their customer service response German i think and been around for quite some time.for louder exhaust i had the 2 back boxes chopped off my SLK 200,although i stored them both and can have them welded back on any time i wish,IMO just yesterday i posted on a thread that although i would love a 6 pot or 8 pot engine if i was to buy another SLK/SLC your SLC 300 is the one i would go for based on reviews i read and watched,i believe yours has exhaust enhancement of some kind in sport+ is it?and around 250bhp?
RaceChip Pro 2 i had on my 18L 200 easy gave me the power of the SLK 250 petrol which is around 200bhp i think my 200 is around 184bhp stock!
When i had the back boxes deleted they sawed them off let me listen and offer to weld them straight back on if i was not happy for about Ł40 i had mine chopped over a year ago now and it passed MOT fine.
You can control the volume of the exhaust with your right footi left them off and cost was around Ł140 i think as they have to weld the chrome tips back on but does the SLC have fake tips not connected to the pipes now?
But i think your SLC may have some kind of opening valve in sport+ and if so i think the 4 cylinders needed a more sporty sound at lower revs but i never lost that blurp sound i do like when gear up changes happen at higher revs!

UPDATE this video explains more about the SLC 300 i was talking about ie the exhaust valve and fake tips!
