Headers are installed, fitment to the stock exhaust was a challenge, I used a tail pipe expander(broke 3 of them) to get the pipe round enough to slip a stainless coupler over it and the downpipe. The Downpipes were alittle awkward, and really need a flex fitting to work well. DS downpipe is longer than stock... also surprised there is not much give or spring in the exhaust, typically an exhaust is hung on rubber grommets or springs to allow some movement in the exhaust.... alittle worred about the stress on the exhaust studs.

Some sounds clips tomorrow

Eurocharged did the tune on my first 55, I was quite happy with it and they are very reasonable. It took about an hour, they read my tune, sent it to the tuner, then installed it. They have a couple of remote tuners that are pretty good.

Let me know if they can do the TCU tune, they thought mine was the same as the C55 until the went to do it and realized that it was the 7 speed. They said they can only tune the 5 speed.

They did both my ECU and TCU. Had to pull the pan to get the TCU out. I had hoped it would react to it similar to a B&M shift kit but it wasn't that aggressive.

Not that there wasn't a difference. There was, but it wasn't worth all the aggravation IMHO. Especially considering it still wont chirp the tires going into second or third...

For the work it took to have it done, I don't think I'd pay to do it again.

So my Eurocharged experience was less than stellar:

They are very timely
They always pick up the phone, they are polite

But here is my issue

I got the tune today, I had a cord from a prior tune, so I told them no need for another. Went to the car and hooked up the battery charger at 10amps, battery was new in late 2018 with a manufacture date of 4/18. I plugged in the OBD cord and got connectivity, loaded the file, Engine fan is running as is normal....triggered by OBD system. Load completes and I get an error message, its says there are models that didnt load or something to that effect. I hit OK, it then tells me to reflash back to the original tune and not to turn the key off or I brick the ECU..... I am like WTF.

I try to reflash the original and it doesnt work, now keep in mind I cant turn the car off and the fan is running although a charger is attached at 10AMPS

I call Eurocharged and walk through it with a tech, urgency as the Fan is running constant.....

The tech rep advises I need to reload the file I had sent them the night before as thats my original(there was no missunderstanding as he told me to load the file by the name I had given it).... the EuroFlash V2 wont take it, I later notice that its a different type of file. I try this several times with no success, at this point the car has been on for awhile.

He says go ahead and just use the .EUC file... I do, I get a note its successful, I close out by hitting the X as he had instructed to do with the previous message, and not use OK. A few seconds after the successful load, he says... whatever you do dont X out, hit OK. I am like WTF every other time you advised not to hit OK. He then says, well its in the instructions. I said, well its not in the instructions on the walk through for the Euroflash V2... he says no they come with the cord. I said well I didnt get those....... ugh

So at this point its possible its a brick.... he advises me not to touch the key. We reflash, I turn the key and there is nothing... its a brick(fans still running, but up and down now... I tell him this and no comments)

We try several things and nothing works....fans running the entire time.

At this point I am just pissed, send me the instructions to send in the ECU, I am done.

I go back out to the car an hour later and try a reflash, I notice now that I could not use the file I had sent them to from my car, as its a different format. I also tried starting again, nothing but on the second and third try it moved. So I call a tech and get a different guy, and hook the battery charger back up at 25AMPS

He offers to help and advises that the previous instruction was wrong, we then cant get remote assist to work. I ask, him if the ECU was a brick would the engine turn at all.... he says ... nope it wont engage at all....

I tell him, I think the fan killed the battery enough that it wouldnt start but still ran the fans... reach for the ignition and turn it over, it fires up no issues...

The first tech was super polite and maybe lacked experience..... I emailed the owner and of course its all my fault....second tech was super polite and helpful. My beef is that the System that walks you through the load should be very specific, the instructions dont advise you on how to close out the of errors or successful loads.

End of the day its done, I have 8 cars all modified and tuned, this might be the most stressful experience I have had with a tune being loaded...

Ok sorry for the rant but just a warning for the next guy when you load

That sucks, i believe they are franchises so each one is run by different people. The one is Orlando is not top notch, but they were able to do it successfully. I didn't load the tune myself.

I had a similar experience. My ECU was bricked. I sent it to them in Houston. It took almost 3 weeks for them to get it back to me. There were many unreturned calls and e-mails. Everything worked when I got the ECU back. It’s not very comforting when your ECU gets bricked and their customer service is lacking.
