Colder sparks plugs for SLK55

Does anyone happen to know the part # for one or two step colder plugs for the SLK55? I'd prefer to go with copper or silver while I'm at though for better conductivity.

Stock part # for OEM is Bosch FR7KPP33U+

Perfect! Zoomed-in on the pic and it looks like Bosch FR5DC. Those have been discontinued and replaced by Bosch 79010, but those are nickle. Anyway, thanks for the info as it makes the search a whole lot easier.

Yep, heat range is normally the first number. Be careful as some companies go down for colder and some up for colder.

NGK are great, I only use them or Bosch. Did you tighten up the gap at all? That is normally required for boosted applications, but we aren't running real high boost either.

Those are what Cory @ Kleemann recommended since the Bosch FR5DC are usually unavailable.

I gapped them down to .031 and it was still breaking up. I then closed them up to .025 and with a leaner AF it's running much better.

Yes, most applications run .023-.027" for our boost levels.
