Kleemann Boost Kit

Hi
Good day

Has anyone installed this Kleenmann Boost Kit ?

Anyway I have spoken to the authorized workshop in our country,
German Motor (owned by a German guy)
and they gave me much details about it.

And I am thinking about it whether to install or not.

In any case I will be checking it out on Monday with the workshop & have it install.

And it would be nice, though, if those who have installed it, give some enlightenment on the result, please.

Thank you & have a nice day

Hi
Good day

Have installed the Kleenmann Boost Kit plus new software, today.
Surprising, the response in terms of acceleration is really good.

It is like a horse wanting to bolt out of the barn, from standstill to take off.

As for max speed have not try it yet.
But can hear the whining sound of the supercharger when accelerating from standstill.
It is quite loud but not deafening.
Is this normal, anyone.??

Thank you & have a nice day

Hi
Good day

I really don't know.

I only know that in my case, I don't need the K Box
just a remap > new software from Kleenmann
that was why waited the whole day in the workshop for the
software to be send from Kleenmann (Denmark)

Thank you & have a nice day

It is normal to hear the Kompressor whine more/louder as it's spinning faster and putting more air in, how much is too much/loud is difficult to say without hearing it in person, but if the guys that did it are professionals, they should say something if it's not ok/right....

What is the reference of your Kompressor, you can see the number on a small plaque on the right side backwards from the black pulley at the front, it starts A271090....?

Hi
Good day.

I really don't know & did not ordered the Kleenmann Boost Kit but instead
I have got it installed. LOL.

Anyway, it doesn't really matter, as long as it increase the acceleration power & it did !!
Much power which it gives especially when on overtaking.
No regrets about it.

Wish I can do more to increase it acceleration power, maybe add an exhaust extractor ??
As for fuel consumption, it is "about the same" if I drive normally unless I drive like a mad man, LOL.

To your second question, answer is NO.

Thank you & have a nice day

Hi
Good day

The whining could be heard when on idling & when on upon acceleration, it is a bit louder & on high speed it is not noticeable. (ambient noise override all other sounds)

I do have confidence on the installer, an old German guy & an authorized dealer in our country for Kleenmann products.
They are listed in Kleenmann website.

https://www.kleemann.dk/dealers/

As for reference for my Kompressor, I really don't know. I will try to look for the number (can't see from the top maybe need to get under the engine)

Anyway, thanks for the info.

Thank you & have a nice day

Hi
Good day

The total cost was RM 7800.00 (USD 1950.00)

A bit expensive though.
All I can say is: it is good & no regret.

Thank you & have a nice day
