Pulley change m271 r171

Hello, I made my mind and I am going for pulley change and remap. Guys where I am doing this told me that this pulley is way easier to change and better. Here are the pictures. They say that you don't have to warm up and all that hard work but to just screw it.

That silver pulley is easier to install than the IBF one.
Once installed, the IBF looks like stock.

I would not say that the silver pulley is better for your car. It is only better for the installer since he has much less work to do.

IBF pulley is 62mm. Which size is that silver pulley?

I assume it's 62mm, seller didn't wrote info about it. It just says that will add 30hp

I ask because the size of the pulley directly influences the airflow to the engine. Then, the remap adjust the fuel to keep a reasonable Air/Fuel ratio.

1. Stock 200K (163HP version) = Crank 175mm / supercharger 72mm = 2,43 gearing X 6.200rpm = 15.100 -> 163HP
2. Stock 200K (184HP version) = Crank 175mm / supercharger 65mm = 2,69 gearing X 6.200rpm = 16.700 -> 184HP
3. 200K (163 or 184 version) + IBF Pulley + Remap = Crank 175mm / supercharger custom 62mm = 2,82 gearing X 6.200rpm = 17.500 -> 200HP
4. 200K (163 version) + Kleemann Kit = Crank 195mm/supercharger 72mm = 3 gearing X 6.200rpm = 16.792 -> 192HP
5. 200K (184 version) + Kleemann Kit = Crank 195mm/supercharger 65mm = 3 gearing X 6.200rpm = 18.600 -> 215HP
6. 200K (163 or 184 version) + IBF Pulley + Kleemann Kit + Remap = Crank 195mm / supercharger 62mm = 3,14 gearing X 6.200rpm 19.500 -> 225HP
7. 200K (184 version) + Kleemann Kit + Remap with 7000 rpm limit = Crank 195mm / supercharger 65mm = 3 gearing X 7.000rpm = 21.000 -> 240HP
8. 200K (163 or 184 version) + IBF Pulley + Kleemann Kit + Remap with 7000 rpm limit = Crank 195mm / supercharger 62mm = 3,14 gearing X 7.000rpm = 22.000 -> 252HP

For the red ones you need to seriously mod the SC or it will not support that rpm.

Great info.
Is there benefit for a SC pulley only change without the remap. Remap is pricey will the ECU/Lambda sensors not adjust to suit.

Cheers

In the m271, if you install the pulley (without remap) you will notice an improvement, BUT to release the full potential you do need the remap.

If you increase the s/c speed which increases the volume of air, how do you fool the MAF to not exceed 5 volts?
On the R170 you had to add a resistor in series with the MAF so it doesn't go past 4.9 volts, even with more air volume.What do you do with the R171? Thanks
