More negative camber desired

Does anyone have any experience with adding crash bolts to get a little extra negative camber? Is only one per side required? Or two? I知 looking to stay in the SCCA street class for autocross. I知 not aware of any other allowed way to get some more negative camber. Any ideas are appreciated.

I had K-Mac adjustable bushings on my previous SLK to allow camber to be set. Would those not be allowed in autocross?

Those are not allowed in Street/Stock SCCA classes. Only adjustments that can be made with standard OEM parts is allowed. Crash bolts are OK. To quote from the rule book:

Both the front and rear suspension may be adjusted through their deャsigned range of adjustment by use of factory adjustment arrangements or by taking advantage of inherent manufacturing tolerances. This encomャpasses both alignment and ride height parameters if such adjustments are provided by the standard components and specified by the factory as norャmal methods of adjustment. However, no suspension part may be modiャfied for the purpose of adjustment unless such modification is specifically authorized by the factory shop manual.
Suspension bushings, including but not limited to those which carry the weight of the vehicle and determine ride height, may not be replaced with bushings of a different material or dimension.

i'm using the bolts, you need one on each side. highly suggested, steering get a better weighting and the preload of the inner wheel (while cornering) increase the front grip and increase oversteering...expect -1,5 degrees per side. go for it

Thanks for the feedback. There are two different struts on the front axle that can have the crash bolts installed. Is it the aft one? Bolt number 200 for strut item 160 in the attached diagram? Or item 2 in the attached picture?
I知 thinking of changing the bolt and having the front toe changed to 0 degrees.

Mine needed a minor adjustment to the camber on the right (just for street use) when it was measured on the alignment rack (and a new lower-right-rear control arm replaced due to a worn-past-spec ball joint). The adjustable bolts for the front suspension are an optional factory part number and should pass any inspection if I read those rules correctly. They cost about $18 each.

Since it's the same amount of labor to replace two as it is to replace four (both have to be undone to replace any on each side), I saw no point in not outfitting the suspension with all four adjustable bolts. Now my car has fully adjustable camber, caster, and toe-in on the front suspension should I ever want to experiment with different settings. ... When they re-setup the front end, they were able to dial-in all the adjustments to be right on the money on both sides.

(The reason they don't put the adjustable bolts in straight from the factory is cost of manufacture. It's MUCH less expensive to pick from a set of stock, fixed length bolts based on an individual car's measured chassis/suspension bits' variances rather than having to assemble then set the adjustment values individually, and at the factory they aim to get the adjustments within the acceptable range, not necessarily right on the money.)

I ordered a package of 4 bolts. I'll give an update when I get them installed then take the car in for an alignment. I'm assuming they are pretty easy to install.
