Hello Slk world!!! Ken here. My 2009 slk 55 AMG black beauty blew her dampners the other day and now I feel like I'm on a bull when I hit dips, due to the continuous bouncing afterwards. I am a ASE master tech of 20 years so not shy about the work. The issue I'm having is I found what Bilstein struts and shocks go on it, or that I want, i.e B8 sport plus ones and that is fine, but I can't fined the springs for the front or rear! 😡 I thought the Bilstien B12 pro kit would work but it turns out that the ebach springs that come in that kit do not have the right rebound for the Slk 55's. That's coming from Ebach themselves and that's why it's not listed for the 55's. Can anyone please help me? I appreciate all replies. Thank you

I don't have the 55AMG, but I believe that Renntech has springs for your car and can probably advise on dampers. I have the B12 kit on my 280, and it's great. If they're saying it's no good for the 55, it's probably because of the greater weight in the nose from that big V8.
