Response From Chrometech on Drone
thanks for your mail.
Terry it’s a sport exhaust system it’s normal that the you have some drone.
But you can solve this problem following:
Get a stainless steel metal shaft with a diameter of 12 mm.
Cut 4 pieces so that they match vertical inside each end tip.
Weld each piece in each end tip as deep you can, directly in front of the hole
that comes out of the exhaust box.
Then the exhaust system will be calmer and the drone should be gone.
Try it first with welding in only 2 of these shafts, 1 driver and 1 passenger side.
If it is o.k. for you, leave the 2 shafts inside.
If it’s not o.k. weld in the both others, too.
With best regards
I will try this first, without welding. If no worky or if I lose the good sound, I plan to install two J-Tubes, once I compute the required length.
