Supercharger pulley question.

Anyone done this and have any tips?
Old pulley came off when enough pressure was applied.
The new pulley however just will not go past a certain point.
I've mashed it with hammers, tried screwing it on with the bolt and washer method, snapped 2 bolts in the process.
This was all after having the shaft in ice for an hour and heating the pulley until red hot, an hour later and it's still warm to the touch!

As far as I know, they normally go on fine by just heating them...

Beside heating the pulley we cooled down the shaft with pressurized air but be sure the diameters of the shaft and the pulley are correct, check my experience here...

Sounds like the new pully is not the correct size, I replaced my stock pully years ago and it went on with zero force.

Thanks guys, full dragon, very helpful mate, think I'll take it to a machine shop tomorrow and get them to measure the diameters for tolerances etc!
