Rear anti roll bar on 1999 pre face lift

I have just purchased a H&R anti roll bar kit. Front and back, for my 1999 pre face lift. Also had the bilstein shocks and eibach lowering springs fitted at the same time. When I picked the car up from mechanic, he said there was no place to mount the rear bar. Spoke to H&R and they said there are brackets already there on a 1999 for it to fit to. Can anybody shed some light on this please.

the pre-face lift didn't come with a rear swaybar from the factory hence why your mechanic couldn't mount it. i think h&r is giving you the run around, ask them for an installation diagram or something related so you can see specifically what they're talking about. im not sure if anyone on here has fabbed up a rear swaybar on a pre-facelift although i know there has been talk about people looking to do it, myself included
