There's been a strange sight here in the UK recently, I believe it's called the 'Sun'. It's a big, yellow thing in the sky, and boy, does it get hot! Not to be confused with a certain tabloid!
Today was designated a 'me' day, so I headed off to Waxstock
. About 120 miles from where I live. Such a beautiful day the roof was down, cruising a steady 75mph. Life is good.
I spent a couple of hours at the event, and came home - leaving at noon. It was crazy hot, so I took my time, enjoying the empty Sunday roads, the scenery, the smells and the breeze. Took just over 2.5 hours to get home.
The top of my head is sore. Sun burnt! Jeez, I'm not that
bald! Time for a baseball cap methinks!
All that time & distance I never spotted another SLK. Loads of MG TFs, Mazda MX5s, even a couple of Daihutsu
en's (they look fun, one for each foot!) all with the tops down. But no SLKs. Weird!
